Emilia-Romagna, which runs across the northern part of the Italin peninsula, is the breadbasket of the country and the heart of it's current culinary Renaissance. For wine purposes, the region is most famous for Lambrusco (the best-selling Italian wine in the US back in the 1970s), but today makes a range of wines, from dry sparkling Lambrusco & Pignoletto, to Albana (the country's first white wine DOCG), and Sangiovese. Join us to try 4 wines from 2 producers, one near Modena in Western Emilia-Romagna, and one near Bertinoro in the East.
