Taco Tuesday: Famous Novels Inspired

Join us every Tuesday from 5-9pm for public a-la-carte dining as we celebrate and raise money for local partners. Themes and menus change weekly so be sure to check our full Events Calendar for the latest information.

Walk-ins are welcome and no reservation is needed for Taco Tuesdays.

$3 - TACOS | Corn or Flour Tortilla

Animal Farm (George Orwell)- Spicy ground pork, red cabbage slaw, goat cheese, apple-berry chutney 

To Kill A Mockingbird (Harper Lee)- Scouts favorite seasoned chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, & Walter Cunningham’s maple syrup

Moby Dick (Herman Melville)- Ishmael’s crab cakes, red cabbage slaw, queso, pineapple salsa

The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald)- The finest steak old boy with royal red mashed  potatoes, smoked mushroom caviar, snow peas, & horseradish sauce

IT (Stephen King)- The Losers Club reunion-vegetable stir fry with Brussels sprouts, snow peas, asparagus, carrots, mushrooms, rice, spicy mayo, Vigeo Garden micro greens 

QUESADILLAS

$7- Silence of the Lambs (Thomas Harris)- Bluescreek Farm mint lamb sausage, kidney beans, leeks, three cheese blend & cherry-wine reduction

$5- Sense & Sensibility (Jane Austen)- Traditional three cheese blend quesadilla & sour cream

SIDES

$5- The History of Jack and the Bean Stalk (Benjamin Tabart)- Mixed greens, snow peas, house croutons(Gluten Free Option Available), giant thick cut Bluescreek bacon, & champagne vinaigrette

$4- Dracula (Bram Stoker)- Transylvanian tomato soup with cheesy garlic bread & scallions 

$7- The Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien)- Waffle fries with Mordor melted cheese, Pippin’s prosciutto “the salted pork is particularly good”, & scallions “Whats taters precious?” 

CAN’T DECIDE?

$30 - Tasting Platter - A sharable portion of each taco, side dish and 

a miniature specialty quesadilla…dessert is a little extra!

DESSERT

$4-The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Mark Twain)- Indulgence corn-berry ice cream  sandwich with Spiffy corn cookies

Taco Tuesday’s do not involve a participatory dining element (yup, that means we take care of all prepping, cooking, and cleaning) and are an excellent way to see our space, support the local community, and eat some delicious tacos.
